This staircase is nearing the end of it's life as the building that houses it is due for demolition in the next year or so. I will miss it as it makes me think of Percy Wyndham Lewis's Vorticist paintings. If you stand underneath, looking up, it changes as you move your line of sight.

What I won't miss is climbing or descending it's backless steps which, logic tells me, I cannot fall through, but which worry me nonetheless.
