All this useless beauty

Each time Cousin Leo spotted a passing Dart yesterday, he enthusiastically shouted at the top of his voice "have you seen the train? Have you seen the train?!?", incredulous as he was, faced with so much beauty, and even more inexplicably such nonchalance on the part of his cousins in the presence of so much locowonder.

So today we convinced his Dad, who was a feeling a touch shaky after a late night Jenga game and a short night sleep, that what Leo would really like, rather than a forest walk, is a trip into town on the train.

This was his first visit to the capital and he was very impressed by the size of the buildings, their shapes and colours.

We were all impressed by Nana's legendary velocity on a swing.

It's been a very enjoyable and fast-paced Sunday.

The four cousins will sleep very well tonight.
