My Birds

We've just got in from The Gaping Goose pub and got Mr Chicken out of the tumble dryer. Mr Chicken looks suspiciously like a duck to me but Jayne assures me he was bought at Easter an is therefore a chicken.

Anyway, whatever he is, he belongs to Lauren and has given good service recently supporting her bump. He had become a bit grubby and so Tom thought it best to wash him in the bath this morning. Lauren cautioned against this as Mr Chicken has a label forbidding such things. The label also forbids tumble drying but it was worth the risk to reestablish his feathers and also get Tom out of the doghouse.

A high risk strategy that paid off!
