Emma

We met Emma today for coffee. This was quite a poignant moment as she and her boyfriend Ryan are taking the train to London tomorrow, prior to flying out on their great adventure around the world on Tuesday.

So here's a photo of yours truly plus my favourite (only) daughter looking happy in the sunshine by Shakespeare's Birthplace garden fence (I'm sure he won't mind!).

Not sure yet whether I'll be able to see her off at Warwick Parkway tomorrow, depends on the boiler man.

We had a relaxing afternoon at home taking tea with friends. We lit a fire even though the temperature didn't warrant it, just to make the room feel cosy(ier).
