That was a lovely story, Princess...

The name of Eugene Lambert won't mean anything to non-Irish readers but for nearly thirty years to the mid 90's, his - and then his daughters' - puppetry was a fixture on children's TV here. In parallel with this, he also established a puppet theatre in Dublin, and hosted an annual international puppetry festival.

So when the local theatre announced the Lambert's would be putting on Snow White, we were definitely going, and Princess even had the perfect outfit! Even if it wasn't the most original idea - it looked like a Disney casting call with so many princesses together...

It's hard to believe how completely enthralled both of them were by the show, or even how much fun Bosco was as the warm-up act!
