Sunday roast

I met up with some old work friends for a pub lunch which turned out to be half a chicken with lashings of gravy and the biggest yorkshire pudding that would make aunt Bessie jealous!
We haven't seen each other for a year so there was lots to talk about, unfortunately it was football day, the pub was packed and extremely noisy so after scoffing our lunch we headed off some where quieter to have tea and scones with jam and cream......how very English and civilised darling!
