Ex tree

Went up to the allotment and planted the rest of the shallots, also re-interred a few of the last Jerusalem Artichokes. Discovered that the rats who got into the shed and crapped on the old fleece had also crapped all over the wee notebook in which we keep a rough map of what we've sown where. :-(

Shall just have to remember in future.

On the road to the allotment I'd seen four magpies - it's so hard-wired that I cannot help repeating
One for sorrow
Two for mirth
Three for a wedding
Four for a birth...
We pondered the imminence of several upcoming births and reckoned that Mr and Mrs StevieFish's was the most probable. Congratulations to them! :-)
