Down by the weir

After a very lethargic day and gutted the Scots were beaten again at the rugby, I thought I better go out and get a blip shot. I had been reading one of my photo mags earlier and thought I would go down to the weir on the Tyne to try longer exposures of water shots. Was totally surprised to find this crane in the middle of the weir when I got there.

I did not get much time to set up and managed to get 4 shots before it moved off. The head is slightly off focus which was a shame as I wanted to use this for a competition shot :-(.
