St. Andrews West Sands

Boring picture.

Probably more commonly known as "the beach", the West Sands at St. Andrews looking back to the town.

It was really windy this afternoon to the extent that I could feel the sand in the air when I was taking this and thought it had stared to rain again.

We had a nice walk on the beach for about 45 minutes encountering a lovely playful young retreiver, some funny wee birds running in and out of the surf and a bloke running only in a pair of shorts and then swimming in a wet suit quite far out who looked as if they were training for something.

I expect St. Andrews to enter a media frenzy if Wills and Mrs Wills hit town during the Windsors' Summer 2012 Tour.
