Spring-like Sunday

Did an hour's litter picking this morning with the school association - thought I was going to be the only one but four of us turned up in the end. It was a lovely morning, so wandering around in the warm sunshine picking up crisp-packets and coke cans was OK.

After lunch we went for a stroll around the local nature reserve by the river. There were definite signs of spring. Buds opening and lots of catkins.

This is one of the ponds (blipped last year too..pond). No herons today but we did see a small vole.
