Repairs under way

The repairs to the storm damage of 14th. December (see Blip) finally got under way today. I had envisaged a JCB - cement mixer - crane - squad of builders - torn up turf etc. etc. In the event I got no machinery - just two men - a pick and shovel - a piece of string - a hammer and chisel - wheelbarrow - great deal of strength and no shortage of skill. This is the result of one days work for them to make order out of the chaos of the 14th. Dec.
