Barking

Downtown, Sydney

We got up at a reasonable hour and walked the hour or so down to Circular Key. I had salmon and poached eggs for breakfast and Canterbury tucked into a bacon and egg roll.

We people watched, saw a contortionist squeezing herself into a 16" square box, and strolled around. It was great to see the sunshine and we were both in short sleeves.

We made our way back to the hotel, dropped off the cameras and headed to the 'grand chapiteau' (the big top) where we saw the Cirque du Soleil.

Every time we thought it couldn't get any more amazing, they'd roll out something even more breathtaking. The costumes, the skill, the choreography, the music. All just 'WOW'.

Two and a half hours passed incredibly quickly and it was all over.

Buzzing, we wandered off to meet two of my friends, Sue and Sas for a meal. It was great to see them both again. We had a lovely meal and a few drinks and were home by 10.30.

Night, night.
