Yarn Bombed

backblipping a fun photo I took yesterday. There was an article in our local paper about the 'bombing'.....

"Mike Vaughan's rail sculpture along the Coos Bay waterfront has been "yarn-bombed" by a group known only as "Bomb's-Away Crochet of Coos Bay". The temporary installation of acrylic fiber is labeled "Turtlenecks on Track" and a sign on it also says "Because creativity and whimsey matter!" Yarn-bombing is a worldwide fad in which needlecrafters cover public places with knitting or crocheting."
