Hot air balloon

As a special treat Corin and I went on a hot air balloon ride today. It was really good.

This shot is obviously whilst we are in the air - Jose (our pilot) was very accommodating and gave the burners a five second blast to let me get the picture - I will post the rest when I get home and can upload to my PIcasa albums - the views were amazing and it is such a tranquil experience.

However, LANDING was not at all tranquil - in fact it was briefly quite scary - we touched down, went up, touched down again and the basket hit a ridge of ploughed earth in the field and then the basket tipped over with us all in it!

We helped to pack the balloon away afterwards as well.

Very cool.
