stillness

This photo was taken in a Costwold village near to where I live. It is a very beautiful place and at the moment the little churchyard is filled with snowdrops. The village looks as though it hasn't be altered for hundreds of years, its almost a little too perfect. On Sunday it was a very still day, the pond in the photo looks almost frozen I think because its so still, and it made the whole village seem enchanted.
