Not the most wonderful of days. We found out today that a foot injury that has been plaguing Joe for the past 3 weeks is actually a fracture. Poor kid has been in a bit of pain and as it happened at school during sport, was not the introduction to high school that we had hoped for! He does not need plaster which he greatly relieved about, but will need to take it slowly for some weeks.
Anyway. relief from the heat at last - storms, rain and fog. I wonder how Jack is going on his hike!
