RHYME MAN WALKING
This is a statue of ROBERT FERGUSSON the scotts poet. He lived from 1750 to
1754. He turned down law and other well paid jobs to give him time for his poetry.
Unfortunatly when his dad died and the others left the house,he was left to look after his mother. Then he fell out with his welthy uncle who cut him out of his incom from him. In 1754 he got a knock to his head and died a few weeks later.
Although he did not live long he had a big influence on other poets of his day and since.
