Gloucester

Now let me start by saying I have absolutely nothing against Gloucester.

I still vividly recall going there with Mrs Nicktor (in the days when she used to come and watch the Mighty Shots!) in November 1995 to watch the "not so mighty on the day" Shots get thrashed 5-1 in the FA Trophy in a tropical storm, but I'm not bitter. Honest - I'm not bitter! I like bitter - but I'm not bitter.

But getting a phone call from my Boss relaying a message that the person I'd driven two and a half hours to go and see "was not feeling very well" when I was 5 miles from my destination was not the best start to a week.
