Snowdrops

Among the earliest of plants to flower, the snowdrop first pushes its two slender grey-green leaves up through the the bare earth, and these are followed by the flower stalks.Each bears a soltary flower with three sepals, and three shorter notched petals streaked green on the inside.
It was a snowdrop walk in the rain, dogs complete with their little coats on, but its still nice to get some fresh air. Bit of a change to yesterday's weather though.
