Still Water
Just me an Jinxy on the walk this morning. Val has gone down with a cold.
It was obvious as the car climbed up onto the moor, that the mist was down and there was a scudding of rain on the windscreen. Instead of our usual climb up to the Tor, we headed west along the Two Moors Way which hereabouts is a wide muddy track and shows much evidence of use by mountain bikes as well as footprints.
About half a mile from the road I came to this pond with the still water reflecting the grey sky. Managing to call Jinxy before he dived headlong into the water I got a few shots which reflected (clever) the stillness of the morning.
I like to attempt capturing the moor in this light and managed to get a few more on the way back to the car, but I liked this one best
Back to East Devon later.
