A bit of Father and Daughter Bonding time

Popped into ye olde Pontefract with Dad whom needed to book out ski's for his 2ndski holiday this year. This is my first year in the past few where i am not going to be flying down mountains in Parallel. Typical its the year that Europe have had the best snow ever...speaks volume about my sort of luck. The year i did my ski season they had the worst snow in Austria for 40 years, glad i was there for over 4 months so i could atleast make the most of the odd good powder days.
I did however benefit from joinjng my dad on his Saturday morning shopping trip as he ended up paying for a bit of food shopping i did...its not all bad :)

After lunch i went to visit my best friend from school who moved in with her boyfriend at the end of last year about 20 minutes away from my parents home and whose mum had just been in a car crash (luckily only came out of it bruised rather than broken) so was still a little shaken up by the whole trauma. We chatted over three cups of tea and a bun which Lois had made and she hadn't skimped on the icing..mmm..Winner!

Finally headed home to quickly get ready before driving to Stalybridge for my boyfriend's uncle 60th Party.

So a rather busy all over the place sort of day.
