The Archer
This is The Archer that graces the roof at East Finchley Tube station. He is poised as if he has just released an arrow along the railway line towards central London. The Archer symbolises Finchley's ancient association with hunting in the nearby Royal Forest of Enfield. He also faces towards Archway, which is a station further down the northern line.
An arrow may fly through the air and leave no trace. But an ill thought leaves a trail like a serpent
