Must. Have. More. Chocolate. Cake.

Sunday, our youngest turned 11, and I promised to bake a chocolate cake for her. Which I did, as you can see here. It was dark chocolate, covered with chocolate ganache, and decorated with a wintry Totoro scene I made with powdered sugar and a stencil I hand-cut myself.

Well, that cake is soooo gone. And I have lots of ganache left. What to do but bake another one? This is the result, decorated with fresh strawberry hearts, and snippets of lemon verbena.
