All by myself

Henry kept waking himself up coughing last night so we've had a very lazy day with 2 long naps each! He's fine during the day, just has what sounds like a tickly cough at night. We were meant to be going swimming but I cancelled - don't want to make the cough worse and we were both pretty tired.

Our holiday stroller came today so we assembled/adjusted and wheeled around the living room. It's not as easy to put up and down as my everyday pushchair but I've never used an umbrella fold pushchair before.

I tried to give Henry some banana as a snack today but he wasn't having any of it. He squished it into little pieces then threw it all over the carpet. I learnt my lesson by the time it came to dinner (spaghetti bolognese) and put an old blanket down to protect the carpet. He enjoyed throwing the spaghetti on the floor but surprised me by picking up little clumps of meat and eating them!

He wolfed down some carrot, apple and parsnip purée for pudding (I know it's meant to be savoury but it's main ingredient is apple!) and had a bit of a suck on a rice cake. It's funny, he seems to prefer to be fed than to feed himself now, I'm not sure if it's frustration from not being able to feed himself quickly enough or maybe he prefers the taste of Ella's pouches.
