My Sony

The bit that matters, a 24/120 mm lens on a sony R1 camera.
It is depressing to find how quickly ones digital camera becomes superseded. However I am resisting the urge to buy anything else.

This camera has an outstanding lens, 10.2 Mp large sensor, no problems with dust, easy to use.

What happens to superseded digital cameras ?

Even more so, is there an elephants graveyard of film cameras filled with millions of no longer used equipment. Speaking personally I have a Rollei35 which has not had a film through if for several years.
