This is really cool! And I new it was in the works but I'm glad that I finally have a date to expect the service. Vodafone and visa are going to enable smartphones from spring next year be used to pay for things. Effectively similar the the contact less debit credit cards we have now!

Awesome this will make your smartphone even more useful going forward! Yes I know it's not going to work on all phones or networks initially but give it 5 years and paying for things will be so much easier! If they could replace keys with your fone too in a similar way then I would no longer have to do the old routine on leaving the house fone? Wallet?keys? Soon it will be just phone keys and hopefully just fone!

How this will improve men's lives as we have already be burdened with not having a bag to carry all our essentials and over the years our pockets have start to bulge however these cool developments could put and end to that!
