Looking beyond the buildings...

Today has been a busy day, but busy in a really good way. I had a hair appointment at 11.30 in Pontypridd - (60 odd miles away - long story)! Aaanyway, no problems with colour this time and I am happy with the result :)

I then popped up to see my good friend Lauren and had lunch there and a quick catch up. :)

Finally I headed to Cardiff to do some shopping and I am extremely chuffed with my purchase of some very nice boots. Not the sort I have bought before, but now I feel more confident and I am very happy with them (although I think I will need some serious practice walking in heels)! ;-)

I managed to stick to my diet today too, which I am very pleased about and although I didn't have my camera with me, I took some photos with my phone while I had a really lovely walk around Bute Park in the city centre.

It is a beautiful place and the ideal place to look beyond the buildings of a city and to really look at the beauty of nature and to let it absorb, so that you can really feel it! Try it! :) x

I just missed out on a great blip moment when a squirrel popped out of a bin with a large piece of bread in its mouth, but I like this shot of Cardiff Castle....a little different for being taken through the railings.
