Capturing the sound of birds

I've been filming for the past two days at a place called Pennine Camphill Community. The weirdest part of the day was probably when my sound operator wanted a 'wild track', so we all stood in silence for 2 minutes, whilst the birds took no notice and chirped away very loudly!
