Cowslips - with a question mark...

Spotted these today in the Rottenrow gardens. They were in rather forlorn, windy spot, where rushes of a sort grow in the summer.

I'm guessing they're cowslips, but it seems a bit early for them, so I'll happily take the advice of any more informed and green-fingered blippers.

Had a nice birthday lunch in Tinderbox today with some folk from work, and a work colleague made some very tasty savoury breakfast muffins. Shortie made me a card and gifted me some of her artwork. Wee sausage.
