Waiting in the wings

The purple iris in this photo just came out today - a lovely surprise as I'd forgotten what colour they were.

The big tip-up lorry is over 30 years old!

Can you see the frog - he's not with the others that are making a right fracas in the pond just now, but disappear whenever I go near with my camera!

And also the tiny daffodils in the distance - perhaps a blip for another day!

And finally - Happy Birthday Pippa, who suffered cut fingers puting together the metal windmill many years ago.
