Travelling Requisites

I love it when old shop names appear in refurbishments, I wish they were kept.

I wonder what this shop would have sold and when? It's now being sadly changed into a small Sainsbury shop.

Would it have been trunks, to take on ocean liners? Little suitcases for ladies that venture a bit further than Edinburgh? Handbags?

I must try and find out what would have been "travelling requisites". It just sounds posh already (to a non-native speaker like me anyway)
