Door Furniture

We have a strange assortment of doors in our house. Some are original 1960s, some are more recent from the time of the loft conversion, and some are reclaimed and older than the house.

We found two, soaking wet, that had been left outside a house down the road for anyone to take. We dried them out, rubbed them down and eventually got round to hanging them.

I'm not usually brilliant at hanging doors. There's usually a lot of time spent putting it on, taking it off, shaving it down ... But this one - the toilet door - went up first time.

I've no idea why this proved so easy - and I've not hung a door since.
