Happiest Woman in the World

Passed this woman on my lunch today, she was busking although not very well and seemed to be so happy in the moment that it stopped me in my tracks. It felt weird taking a photograph of someone I don't know, almost cheeky, like a field recording of overhearing people talking and they don't know that they are part of it.

A nice evening, my friends Ali and his fianceé Jen came up to visit Amélie, and just shortly after they arrived, another two of my friends from Aviemore came down to see us and bring a family heirloom: a dolls house, for Amélie. It was a very generous gift and will most certainly feature once it has a lick of paint and some renovation work done.
