Flutterby

I was quite pleased with this butterfly, which was obligingly very still in the tropical butterfly house of the place we visited today.

It was actually the Owl and Otter sanctuary in the New Forest, but the otters were less than obliging!! Or, nearer the truth it took me so long to set the camera that they were long gone ...every time!!

Still we had a lovely day and the rain held off, apart from our picnic time when it poured...BUT.... we were picnicking under the trees so stayed dry!!! We were quite smug!

I have tried to put some other photos on to Flickr and I am going to attempt to do a link!!! Fingers crossed.
