Summer's gone

It looks like in no time at all I have moved into the night blipping. Sun sets far too early for my liking. And all of a sudden I have to get the tripod out. Fortunately the theory that kids will do anything you ask them as long as you don't tell them to go to bed. You might see a lot of Hanna in dark corners of the house for a while now.

I know everybody is interested in our weather here (wink). It rained all day long. Without stopping. My water tank, which was as dry as a haystack, is overflowing. I can see green things pushing through the soil. I worry that tomorrow I will need an ax to get through the garden. And of course it is cooler outside, the house is still clinging to stuffiness, but it won't last. We only have one more month that could bring us a heat wave. The couple of hotter days is nothing compared to what everybody here experienced 4 years ago in March - Adelaide recorded 15 consecutive days of temperatures over 35 °C (95 °F).
