The talking bench

It was in the news recently that Mums found the school run the most stressful part of the day.

I don't.

Well, I don't particularly enjoy standing on my own in the playground, and I'm not brave enough to go chatting to other mums who are in their groups.

I go to school to collect my daughter. That's it.

Most days, on our way home, we sit on this bench and Clara tells me all about her school day. This is the only way I actually get to find out what she's been up to. I wonder how long this bench will serve us, and whether or not we're the only ones who do this?
