Exercising the horses on the beach!

We took Chloe for a walk on the sand dunes today at Mawbray.

When the tide is out, they quite often exercise horses on the beach...

I hope you enjoyed your EXTRA day today ( 29th Feb ).

However, if you are paid monthly you did an extra day's work for nothing!

Did you know that in 1752, when we changed from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar, we LOST 11 days! The day after 2nd September became 14th September!

Many people were not happy that they had lost 11 days of their life!!!
