I was delayed this morning when driving over to St Helens for a meeting because several streets in the Dovecot area were cordoned off.

A 27 year old man was discovered wandering in traffic at 7.30 a.m. The Emergency Services were called and he was taken to hospital where he later died. It was a sobering start to the day but it was good to see that the local Housing Association had staff out on the streets talking to residents.
