Saved!
This contraption is the fridge from our car ( don't ask! ) the fridge part of our fridge freezer had died a death. Engineer coming next Tuesday ( don't get me started! ) so until then Eoghan had the bright idea of using this. It's surprisingly effective. Visited his mum in hospital tonight and the panic is over. They haven't quite worked out all the minutiae and are redoing scans etc but they have managed to eliminate the obvious terrifying things it could have been. Blood transfusions have finally taken effect and what a difference in her colour! She is feeling much better. We are all once again truly grateful for the medical care given free at point of delivery. The standard of nursing has been high( not always the case in this hospital in recent years) the food simple but edible and the general demeanour of everyone working there of a very good standard. Cheers NHS!! Took Dileas for a walk afterwards round a nearby pond where he succeeded in falling in. Literally disappeared under the water. Had to restrain Eoghan from instantly diving in. Very sensible of me be cause Dileas just floated to surface and started swimming. I think he got a bit of a surprise though. Hauled him out and then got covered in muddy water as he shook himself all over us. Yuk! Now home big mug of hot tea everyone else in bed so I'll watch something chickflicky on tv.
