Man with a Hat

I went back to Fired Earth in Perth again and took GP with me for her valued opinion. We were completely uninspired so went to Reid's Cafe for a bowl of soup and a think. I snapped this gentleman buying an assortment of cakes. I liked his hat.

I had three missed calls from Felicity . She's off to Cape Town this eve. I couldn't get hold of her but spoke to Lucie instead. Apparently Fizz had given herself an hour to pack before a taxi was due to arrive and take her to the airport. Her passport was nowhere to be found. A frantic search ensued with Fizz hyperventilating at the thought of abandoning her trip. Lucie had the bright idea of retracing her steps from when the passport was last used (skiing in Morzine). There was success and huge relief in the nick of time! It was stuffed into the depths of a rucksack at the back of a cupboard.

...Which reminds me - had GP not tripped and fallen down my front doorsteps I would also have been on this very flight...hmmm.




I've just read that Davie Jones of 'The Monkees' has died. I think he may have been my first heart throb.
