I've Got Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

That song is "My Girl" by the Temptations, but today a lot of us are humming Daydream Believer by Davy Jones and The Monkees. I was so sorry to hear of his death and he was just the cutest thing and the best part of The Monkees.

Sunflowers are just the cheeriest flower in the world. How can you not look at a sunflower and not feel cheered in some way. So bright, so festive, so much like having a miniature sun in your house. They follow the sun with their large seed heads and they have the most perfect name to fit the plant. Gaze upon it and feel the warmth!!

Which is what we need, because it's a winter's day here today.
