A lunchtime shop...

Bethany is for the most part, back in real nappies. She started out in the real nappies but we found that she was waking up during the night because they were wet. We decided to put disposables on her during the night which helped a lot as they take a lot of the moisture away from her skin. What we also found was that she had a lot more leg movement with the disposables as they are a lot less bulky.

Disposable nappies are really nasty environmentally, ever seen what they swell up to if soaked in water? It was a hard decision but we decided to put her in disposables all the time until she gets used to sitting and standing a bit. As you can see from my previous entry, she is sitting quite easily. This meant a welcome return to the real cloth nappies but her clothes are all a bit techt so we went out for a lunch time stroll to get a couple of bigger sets of jeans.
