My battered heart

I'm not really sure about this but I was going through some of my old sketch pads when I came across this doodle.
It must have been drawn in the mid '90s judging from the age of the pad.
The thing is it's not intended as a horrific image. It's just that if I'm asked to draw a card with a heart on it this is what happens.
The sentiment is more "My Battered Heart is yours" kind of thing.
You my have already noticed my sense of humour tends towards the dark side a little.
