Java Sparrow in Kona Hawaii

Today was relaxing and found a few new birds that I haven't seen before. Avilove who lives on the opposite side of the island pointed out to me how many of these birds are not native to Hawaii and how they have taken over...sad but true, and this is just another example. Introduced in 1867 and then reintroduced in the 1960s it is native to Indonesia!
