Hummingbird Nest

Look what I found while picking lemons in my backyard. Use the leaf as a point of reference. This nest is probably about 1.5 inches across, about an inch deep and quite intricately built. Apparently, they use lichen (in the picture), feathers, twigs, and spider filament to build their nests. I hope to have a photo of an egg, and then a baby. I want to be careful not to disturb the nest and make sure all tenants feel safe.
