Embracing the Fact

When you can't read the menu or your playlist on your Ipod....well I think that means it's time for reading glasses. I've been in denial for the last 2 years or so but I've reached a point that I have to embrace the fact.....I'm getting older.

Getting older means wrinkles, menopause, body ache, naps, lactose intolerance and the list continues.

On the other hand, aging can be the most wonderful thing to experience. What you didn't know in your 20's or 30's is that in your 40's you are closer to becoming the woman you were meant to be. As Jane Fonda once said....we are not meant to be perfect, we are meant to be whole.

I love this time in my life. Yes I'm getting older but like my mother and a good bottle of wine I am aging gracefully.

Embracing it with kindness and love.

P.S. Glasses valued at $15 but I got them for $1 at the 99 cent store. What a deal!
