Walmer Crescent

The crescent was designed by Alexander Thomson (he of the Greek appellation) and built between 1857 and 1863. Although category A listed, the sweep of the building is obscured by a row of shops which are, however, far too useful to be moved, so nobody really complains. I don't think.
