Insect on Heather
I started out with the whole day ahead of me with only Cassie and I to think about. Went to get some flowers for a friend who had put her foot down a grid and had missed the golf day out yesterday.
She wasn't home when I took them round.
Was giving Cassie her lunch when Grandmama rang( see her journal later). then friend rang to say she was home after being for physio. Took the flowers round. She insisted I go in so that Cassie could play with her Grand-daughter for a while. Eventually got home just before Cassie fell asleep. Put her down for her afternoon nap. Went into the garden as I had see some bees around the heather. Naturally they took off as soon as I approached but this rather strange insect continued oblivious to my practically touching it with the camera. I thought at first it was a fly but soon realised it was not as it seemed to be collecting the nectar from the flowers.
I had just logged on to post my blip when another friend rang, who I hadn't spoken to since June, to arrange Lunch out in the next week or two. An hour or so later I am now getting my blip posted.
Doesn't time fly?
