hello :) & goodbye :(

I had planned out my Thursday music blog yesterday afternoon & then saw the sad news that my favourite Monkee Davy Jones had passed away so I, of course, had to give him a little mention too. I was only watching him at the weekend on a tv show about boybands and thinking how good he was looking for his age.

The main subject is another crush from my younger days, Nik Kershaw who not only celebrates his birthday today but also this week re-issued his first album as a double cd version and brought back lots of happy nostalgic 80s memories :)
