Serengeti-esque

Well kind of...

Still working at Whixall at the moment, it is a strange brooding place to work in. It is large, empty and wet underfoot and a place that is very difficult to do justice to with the camera as the sense of drama evades capture.

This is Bettisfield Moss a smaller version of the main Whixall moss the other side of the canal. The one in the SW of this map is Bettisfield. Also interestingly it has the Welsh border running straight through the middle of the site.
